Therapy Approach
Therapy is effective in improving mental health when it is tailored to the person seeking help.
My goal as a clinician is to translate science-based strategies into useful everyday skills that children, caregivers and families can adopt and practice to improve their psychological well-being. I collaborate with my patients to identify strengths, set goals, and learn skills that are backed by science in order to make meaningful and long-term changes.
My treatment techniques include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), interventions proven through research to reduce anxiety, depression and OCD.
